"Women Will Rule the World"

Looking ahead towards economic recovery, trends show women stepping up as leaders and businesswomen in the global workforce. Unquestionably, this rise in female economic power and participation will have a significant and positive impact on global economic growth. Factors, such as the combination of higher levels of educated women and the growth of female entrepreneurship, will contribute to the revival of the global economy, an increase in per capita income, and set precedents for social stability. Although gender discrimination and cultural norms persist, economists, world leaders and large corporations cannot dispute the fact that a highly competitive and productive workforce is only viable with the inclusion of the entire population – meaning women are a global asset.
