Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Morocco

AFEM was created in September 2000 at the initiative of women entrepreneurs willing to take an active part in the economic and industrial development of their country and to constitute a national network.

AFEM has set the following goals:

  • To represent women entrepreneurs in economic matters before various authorities of Morocco: institutions, federations, associations.
  • To create a liaison corps with public authorities and established organizations.
  • To direct, border, inform and assist the woman entrepreneur in her research of competitiveness demanded by every company.
  • To create a network of relationships and partnerships between the members.
  • To encourage female entrepreneurship.
  • To sensitize its members with respect to ethics within companies.
  • To study the principal questions of economical, social, legal, tax-related, financial, morals or deontology within the framework of the company.
