Corporate Ambassadors Program: Strategic Planning
The Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB) will launch the Corporate Ambassadors Program in Beirut, Lebanon, in partnership with the Middle East and North Africa Businesswomen’s Network, the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and Vital Voices Global Partnership, under the theme of “Strategic Planning.” On November 6 - 7, 2008, it is estimated that over 200 Lebanese businesswomen and men will participate in the exchange of ideas to help solidify the critical link between businesswomen in the MENA region and the United States.
Three U.S. executives will join their Lebanese counterparts for a two-day event to share knowledge, insights and skills on Strategic Planning. The exchange is part of the Corporate Ambassadors Program, a new strategy designed to develop women’s entrepreneurship overseas by connecting high-level female executives from the United States with emerging businesswomen leaders from other countries. The program equips women in the MENA region with strategic planning, business development, marketing, and financial planning skills--skills necessary for women to expand their enterprises, help provide for their families, and create jobs in their communities.
