The next MENA BWN Hub Leadership Meeting will be January 25-28, 2009 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
The first day of the meeting will be for Hub Managers and the second day will be a joint day with several exciting partners. The Africa Businesswomen’s Network, a new Vital Voices program funded by Exxon Mobil, will be launched at this meeting and we hope this will be a time for you to share your experience and expertise with others about to embark on their own Businesswomen’s Network. Representatives from Exxon Mobil, the World Bank, Pearson/Financial Times, Cisco Entrepreneur Institute, AED/WILPower and MEPI will also be in attendance.
The final two days of the meeting will be with Hub Managers, Hub Executives, and several committee members to discuss programming, plans for the upcoming year, and the sustainability of the MENA BWN.
We are very excited about this meeting and with our very kind hosts in Egypt, the Association for Women’s Total Advancement and Development (AWTAD), we look forward to seeing you all in Sharm El Sheikh in January.
