DAMAC Properties, a luxury developer, announced that it will co-sponsor the Emirates Women Award 2009. The award is organized by the Dubai Quality Group and is given to UAE national and resident women alike. Recipients of the award are based upon a range of criteria from achievements, to business acumen to leadership skills, as the award looks to celebrate and support the success of businesswomen and their contributions in the UAE. An award will be given in each category, as well as given to two overall winners , one from the business owner and one professionals categories. The Managing Director of Dubai Quality Group praised support from companies like DAMAC Properties that help to ensure the award reaches a wider audience and successfully portrays the role and contributions of successful business women in the UAE.
