"DED workshop targets human development "

In Dubai, the Department of Economic Development (DED)’s Business Excellence Centre conducted a two-day workshop on the Dubai Human Development Award (DHDA). The workshop, led by Alaa Garad, CEO of International Performance Excellence Company, outlined information pertaining to the application process such as evaluation criteria. The DHDA encourages dialogue between the public and private sectors and promotes growth within existing institutions by calling on them to show a continued investment in human resources development within the Emirates. The award is given in three categories and encompasses numerous economic sectors.
