"Maghreb Entrepreneurship Conference September 29-30 in Algiers Builds on Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship"

The U.S. Algeria Business Council held the Maghreb Entrepreneurship Conference this week in Algiers. The conference was born out of the Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship held earlier this year in the spring. The conference brought together business leaders and entrepreneurs from North Africa and the United States as well as North African aspiring youth entrepreneurs. Among several moderated discussions addressing the key issues and challenges of entrepreneurship, the conference provided capacity building for entrepreneurs through a number of skills training workshops and networking opportunities.
