Following Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, four additional Arab countries - Jordan, Qatar, Syria and Tunisia – adopted internationalized domain names (IDNs) comprised entirely of non-Latin script. The creation of Arabic domain names reveals the demand for an Arabic language trademark protection online and emphasizes the growing importance of the Arabic language on the Internet.
