"US Embassy Unveils List of 25 Top Entrepreneurs "

On Thursday, Michele J. Sison, the US Ambassador to Lebanon, released the final list of the “Lebanon 25.” The list is comprised of prominent Lebanese entrepreneurs and business pioneers. Sison declared 2010 the year of the entrepreneur, a comment consistent with President Obama’s focus on the role of the private sector and the impact of entrepreneurs – particularly in the Arab world. The “Lebanon 25” looks to promote entrepreneurship and showcase established successful entrepreneurs. Potential candidates for the list must display complete transparency and audit statements. Sison added that entrepreneurs are strengthening the connection between Lebanon and the US.
