"Businesswomen workshop focuses on investment complexities "

DOHA: The complexities of investment were the subject of a workshop organised by the Qatar Business Women Forum (QBWF) recently intended to raise awareness on the world of investment.

The workshop, entitled ‘Demystifying the World of Investingґ was presented by Nabil Hamadeh of the Bahrain-based company Capital Growth Management (CGM).

Participants at the workshop were provided with invaluable information about how to invest wisely in the current market conditions, QBWF said in a statement.

Ms Alfardan said of the workshop, “At Qatari Businesswomen Forum, the sharing of knowledge is one of our core values. Especially in the current global economic environment, it is vitally important that we all aim to better understand the components of sound investment decisions.”

“We firmly believe that sharing knowledge benefits all of us and contributes to building a stronger and healthier business climate. This workshop is definitely a good example of how QBWF adds value to society in Qatar, and demonstrates how people can strengthen each other by sharing.”

Different aspects of international investments in the current complicated financial environment were discussed at the workshop which also included two case studies based on real investment examples.

This was followed by an open questions and answers session on investment subjects prompting very interesting discussions.

QBWF said the workshop was useful in enabling the participants to familiarise themselves with the relationship of their own businesses to global investment activities and themes.
