'The Women in Leadership Forum is the perfect platform to help Arab women expand their role in the business world,' stated Raja Easa Al-Gurg, President, Dubai Business Women Council. 'The Council continuously supports women who seek to achieve their ambitions to become successful businesswomen and leaders. Our main concern has always been to motivate women to be productive members of both society and the economy. We believe that initiatives such as the Women in Leadership Forum will definitely contribute to the empowerment of Arab women in this region.'
The Dubai Business Women Council proactively encourages participation of women in various economic sectors. It seeks to enhance their role by encouraging their participation in investment activities, providing training programs and conducting studies to help them become successful businesswomen. In this respect, Naseba created the WIL Forum, an educational and networking platform for women leaders in the region to discover their true potential and explore business opportunities.
Sophie Le Ray, CEO of Naseba, said:
'It is a great pleasure to receive the support of the Dubai Business Women Council. With the WIL Forum, our aim is to set trends and leverage women's participation in the global business world. All attendees will share experiences, ideas, initiatives, and gain inspiration from the success stories of the world's most influential women.'
The latest speakers include: Fatima Al Jaber, COO, Al Jaber Group; Shimi Shah, CEO, Forsa; Raja Easa Al-Gurg, President, Dubai Business Women Council; Salma Hareb, CEO, Economic Zones World; and Heba Nasser Al Kharafi, Ambassador to HRH The Prince of Wales for the Middle East.
