"USAID supports BPWA members to conduct three days workshop on 'Effective Marketing Strategies'"

Prior to the workshop the Sabeq program supported two members of JFBPW to develop comprehensive Marketing Plans.

The project comes in response to BPWA request to assist its members in their crucial need for developing marketing plans. Such plans will help members identify regularly the targeted market segments, customer needs, their own differential advantage and use all that to design their marketing mix to satisfy customers much better than competitors.

Over the three days the workshop presented and promoted marketing strategic thinking of members, and enhanced capacity building activities for the benefit of 25 BPWA members businesses. The training built new revenue streams and expanded revenue opportunities for participants, as well as introducing the means of conducting external and internal market audits.

BPWA is a not-for-profit organization working to increase women's economic participation in Jordan by harnessing the underutilized economic and social capabilities of Jordanian women by utilizing the experience of its accomplished members, its resources and its networks and providing effective services responding to the needs of its members: the female professionals and business owners.

The USAID Jordan Economic Development Program (Sabeq) is a five-year broad economic development initiative implemented by Bearing Point, Inc., and a sizeable team of international and Jordanian partner firms. By supporting improvements in the business environments and providing assistance to expand innovation and productivity in Jordanian businesses, it supports the main objective of building up the private sector as a powerful engine of economic growth.
